>Normally, when I find great links I share them on Facebook. Kind of like a Tweet. You know, someone might like it or be interested, so I post it and move on.
But I’m taking a break from Facebook and my internet browser windows & tabs are getting cluttered. So, I’m going to post some things so that it’s out there, if anyone wants or needs it. In the spirit of cleaning out and de-cluttering, I’m going to clear my browser windows today, kind of like clearing out the cobwebs. Hope you don’t mind. 🙂

I came across this blog post and it was meaningful to me because we are in the early stages of Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Though this is not a Dave Ramsey-related post, it is full of good common sense: http://www.homeeverafter.com/complete-frugal-makeover-transform-yourself-into-a-money-saver/?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=feed&utm_campaign=Feed%3A+HomeEverAfter+%28Home+Ever+After%29
During this season I’ve been thinking a lot about how much more I need to be doing as far as my Christian walk, particularly when it comes to reading my Bible and prayer. This has a great idea for helping to remember those for whom we are praying. I’m seriously considering getting the book she talks about: http://sandrapeoples.blogspot.com/2010/02/prayer-cards.html
I’ve read several ladies’ blog posts about how a well-stocked pantry can help you save money. Some of those posts are:
I had no idea that we often use too much laundry detergent and that by doing so, we may be shortening the lives our appliances. Did you know that? http://customsites.yahoo.com/financiallyfit/finance/article-109082-4469-3-how-to-really-use-your-dishwasher-washing-machine?ywaad=ad0035

I can’t remember if my history teachers really focused on some of the other reasons for the Civil War. It does seem that we think of the Civil War as being primarily a slave issue. You may or may not agree with this viewpoint, but it made me stop and think about states’ rights. What do you think? http://www.onenewsnow.com/Perspectives/Default.aspx?id=937746
Ok, so these links are totally random, but here they are. Now that my browsers are cleared, I feel like I can refocus my energy on clearing out our front living room, which was taken over during my preparation for the consignment sales.
